Havent tried it yet, but my tutor from jc introduced me this place! Looks good, the reviews are good as well, and its definitely authentic.
The sashimi looks good! even though its only one plate per meal, but i tink its good enough considering i’ll eat the other 30+ items on the menu hahas. There’s fugu! (pufferfish) my tiannn. The seasoned tuna looks awesome. and the unagi is done aburi-style.(using a blow-torch).

Sashimi!
Hmm all the reviews were good about this place regarding the food, but for the service… there seems to be something. Basically, the owner is authentically japanese, and japanese sushi chefs like their food to be consumed fully. ie. no rice bits, wastage etc. And also, as you go on eating, the servings will have much more rice, and lesser meat/ingredients – practically screaming for you to get lost. Well i believe that’s understandable, but probably not acceptable in our kiasu singaporean culture. But, who cares? the food is good haha. i mean, one cant exactly be sooooo thick-skinned rightts.

- Otoro Sushi (Tuna Belly)
Anyway, something they offer caught my eye. OTORO (Tuna Belly). its 20bucks for 2 pieces. MY GOODNESS. a perfect place if u wanna empty your wallet fast. i want this for Christmas/Birthday/National Day/ wadeva day. !!!
Prices: S$29 for lunch buffet; S$39 for dinner buffet (Mon-Fri)
Weekends and public holidays, add about S$10 more. They have a membership card promotion: for every six stamps (one buffet = one stamp), you pay only S$10 for the next buffet.
They also have fixed lunch sets and various other meals (unagi, chiraishi, etc). Shochu, beer and sake available to wash all that sushi down, although free-flow green tea is served.
lol seriously you can be a food critic alr.
i want to try this place before i go. but, I AM COMPLETELY BOOKED UP. zzz.
